Tsavorite Garnet 3.02cts Diamond Ring

An Oval Tsavorite Garnet 3.02 carats mounted in 18 Karat Yellow Gold diamond cluster.

This intense tsavorite garnet rivals the beauty and intense green colour of a majestic emerald.

Tsavorite Garnets originally discovered by British geologist Campbell Bridges in 1967 at Tsavo National Park in Kenya. At the time Campbell Bridges was acting as consultant to Tiffany & Co. It was given the name “Tsavorite” by the luxury jewellery house after a promotional campaign to bring the gem to the public consciousness. It has been sought after by gem connoisseurs. A clean tsavorite over 2 carats is considered very rare, this particular 3.02 carat tsavorite is a true collectors item.
